Please bring a journal and pen and wear comfortable clothes to move in.
“I loved the movement to begin the session. I especially liked how Dr Talia reiterated that you can move in any way that feels right for you. This made me less worried about making sure I’m doing the movements ‘right’ and I could really enjoy myself. I loved the guided mediation and thought Dr Talia lead it beautifully. It really helped with my reflections for journaling.” Nat
Facilitator: Dr Talia Steed, Author of Body Wisdom & Yoga Teacher
Dr Talia although medically trained by background, was propelled on a journey that led her to explore beyond the realm of the physical, into the role of the mind and spirit in the circumstances we face.
Her holistic approach considers the interplay of all facets of our being, Body, Mind & Soul.
To look at ill-health as purely a symptom or illness, is to miss the deeper messages our bodies are calling us to face. As ultimately the path to healing is the path to self-understanding.

Dao Yin with Craig Mallett
Dao Yin (in Chinese: 導引) means to 'guide and lead'. In appearance, it looks much like Yoga or Pilates: on a mat, doing various postures and stretches. In practice, the experience is very different. The exercises ask us to connect our front to our back, and the center to the extremities.

Eagle Dreaming Yoga
These sessions come from a deep respect for the traditions and people at the heart of Australia and for the dharma of unifying community in modern dreaming/spiritual practice.
The wedged-tail eagle, a vital totem for First Australians in south-eastern Australia who oversees and protects, inspires this series. The sessions are a flow of ancient Australian lore and Indian yoga postures for enrichment and unifying; for students themselves and then for our peace-focused community together.

Breathwork Workshop
SOULution is excited to be hosting another breathwork Journey with Dr Polly McGee from Anima Mundi Therapy on Saturday 3rd December from 11:30AM-2PM.
Polly will give an overview of the conscious connected breathing technique, how the process works in our bodies and minds, then lead us on a breathwork journey and group integration.
A breathwork journey uses a guided conscious connected breathing technique and a curated soundtrack to generate relaxed, non-ordinary states of consciousness. From this place you can access to deeper levels of self and safely explore and integrate unresolved/unconscious blocks and barriers, bringing you to new levels of regulation, integration and awareness.
The workshop is held over 2.5 hours and costs $59. Bookings are limited to ensure an enriching experience so if you are breathwork curious and ready to explore, join us on the mat.
Ancient Wisdom for Current Times: Cultivating the Loving Heart
These workshops will explore love through the commonality of Vedic and Buddhist lens. Each evening will include an opening grounding meditation, a teaching and discussion on one of these aspects of love, and close, with a heart-opening guided meditation. Additionally you will have access to two new recorded guided meditations each week.
The Buddha taught of the Brahmaviharas, virtues which are cultivated through practices of mindfulness mediation. Also known as the four immeasurables, the teachings explore:
Upekkha – equanimity.
Metta – loving kindness.
Karuna – compassion.
Mudita – joy with others.
Patanjali taught:
“In relationships, the mind becomes purified by cultivating feelings of friendliness towards those who are happy, compassion for those who are suffering, goodwill towards those who are virtuous, and indifference or neutrality towards those we perceive as wicked or evil.”
The series will run over 4 Sunday evenings at 6:30pm

Secrets of Vinyasa - A workshop series unlocking the often misunderstood foundational postures.
Have you ever found yourself in a particular posture in class like Warrior 1, or half-way down in a connecting vinyasa, wondering how exactly you could organise yourself better? Perhaps you are feeling confident in the pathways of our classes at SOULution, but want to get a deeper understanding to the foundational elements of your practice. Postural alignment, breath work (pranayama), prop usage, translations of basic Sanskrit terms, and regressions to modify your practice whenever your body needs. This three-week series will cover the basics. Each week will cover a different ‘family’ of postures. Which is essentially the positioning of your hips and a general trajectory of a sequence. For example, Warrior 2, Triangle, Half moon, goddess, and so on.. We will cover anatomical alignment that is sustainable for most postures with a little more specifics, to your body and practice. The workshop will be co-taught with Kelsey and Najjib, with one instructing class while the other offers verbal and/or hands-on assist. This will ensure there are enough eyes on the class so you receive attention to your personal practice. Additionally, the series includes a manual that will have all of the info going over the basics that you can look over time and tim again to allow your mind to get around the content in your own time.
